As a registered member of the College of Psychologists of British Columbia, Dr. Yaskowich adheres to strict privacy and confidentiality standards. The information you provide will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent except in the following extreme circumstances:
- If you are at imminent risk of harming yourself or someone else
- If a child is suspected of being in danger of abuse or neglect
- If our records are subpoenaed by a court of law
For administrative and accounting purposes, book keepers, accountants, information technology consultants and administrative staff may have limited access to restricted, identifying information (your name and contact information) for the purposes of managing this information. However, we avoid revealing identifying information whenever possible. External consultants and administrative staff must enter into privacy agreements with Conscious Living Wellness Services Inc. if they have access to identifying information. As a result, associated consultants adhere to strict privacy policies concerning identifying information. No one except Dr. Yaskowich and Conscious Living Wellness Services Inc. has access to your clinical file without your consent. Failure to provide payment for services scheduled will result in your billing being forwarded to a collection agency after 6 months.
The video calling methods that Dr. Yaskowich and Conscious Living Wellness Services Inc. uses are encrypted to reduce the likelihood of breaches of privacy. However, with any method of communication, a breach of privacy and therefore confidentiality is possible.
Despite every effort to ensure that your personal information is kept in strict confidence, Dr. Kyla Yaskowich and Conscious Living Wellness Services Inc. will not be held liable for any damages suffered from accessing information from this website or by contacting us by email, phone, or video (computer viruses, system failures, technical errors, breaches of privacy due to communicating via technology etc).
