Wholistic Approach

INTEGRATED WHOLISTIC APPROACH

DR. KYLA YASKOWICH ~ REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST

The needs of each individual are unique, and there are a variety of paths to wellness.

The Wholistic Approach I offer integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Hypnotherapy. I combine these effective psychotherapies with powerful non-traditional healing modalities and concepts from quantum physics, spiritual psychology, and neuroscience.

Many people come to me feeling stuck – depressed, anxious, and dissatisfied – despite having accomplished many of the things they thought would make them happy. They have questions about the meaning of life, their purpose, important decisions, and relationship challenges.. Although I do not have the answers to these important questions, your subconscious mind does.

You can learn to access your inner guidance system to obtain clear answers and remove barriers to change. Eradicate fears, limiting beliefs, and negative thought patterns to achieve your greatest potential. Drop into the present moment and experience more joy. Whether you want to feel more confident, perform more effectively, feel motivated, relaxed, healthier, and happier, or experience greater harmony in your relationships, you can learn ways to achieve any goal you set with much less conscious effort.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

has ample empirical evidence supporting its efficacy. Research demonstrates that it is as effective as western medications for treating depression, anxiety, and many other conditions. Learning to change maladaptive behaviors, limiting beliefs, and negative thinking patterns results in new neural pathways in the brain and lasting changes in behavior and mood.

Mindfulness

is rooted in ancient Buddhist philosophy dating back thousands of years. It cultivates awareness of one’s present moment experience with compassion. By learning to love and accept ourselves and others with loving kindness, we experience greater inner peace and harmony in relationships. Mindfulness-based therapies offer significant psychological and physical health benefits and improve quality of life. With mindfulness we begin to view whatever we are experiencing as an opportunity for growth. With openness, acceptance, and curiosity our experience of life is transformed – we open ourselves to feel more peace, ease, and flow.

Hypnotherapy

is widely recognized and empirically validated as an effective treatment for a variety of physical and mental health conditions. It also amplifies the results of other therapeutic techniques used. Hypnosis is an altered state of awareness that anyone can achieve through relaxation and guided visualization techniques. In a state of hypnosis the subconscious mind is more receptive to empowering ideas without interference from the conscious mind. Using hypnosis we can access information in the subconscious mind and the quantum field of intelligence and program our mind for success. In this deep state of awareness, we tap into infinite possibilities available to us.

Neuroscience

demonstrates that the brain is malleable – it can adapt and change. Similar to learning a new language, we can develop new neural connections. We can rewire our brain, making it possible to overcome long-standing habitual ways of thinking, behaving, and feeling. We are not destined to experience the patterns that we genetically inherited, learned, or have struggled with our whole lives. We can change our mind and change our life.

By learning to work with your subconscious mind and the quantum field of intelligence, you can tap into an innate wisdom to heal the body, mind, heart, and spirit.

I am passionate about teaching people how to connect with this infinite, creative, and healing intelligence. Allow me to show you how to access your unique inner genius to create optimal health, well-being, and a life that is beyond what you have ever imagined.

~ Lao Tzu

To a mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders.
